Backed up to Eternity
depression every possibility becomes impossible
wrong way sign state of the union on a divided highway
unflooded roads backed up to eternity
wing extensions for vultures drenched in sunshine
a tumble-down boulder the limestone de-stressing itself
dead ends I get to see everything in reverse
spring twilight closure is a wound that re-opens
somewhere else
a sense of foreboding in the bent spine of a battered oak
